What an absolute time capsule!

This little Torana comes from a time when Kiwis actually assembled our own cars here in NZ and is a true 70s Kiwi icon!

Surely one of the best remaining examples of the breed left anywhere now, this Torana has just recently been released from a private Marlborough Holden collection, and is in remarkable original condition having travelled what appears to be an original 78k miles!

The super clean body shows no evidence of ever having had any major repairs carried out either rust or accident damage, and is in very original order throughout, with the original bumpers, grille tail lamps and all fittings present and correct, and all of the original rubbers are still in very good order, right down to the immaculate original boot area, spare and original tools.

The interior in this example instantly tells the story of this lovely old Torana, and its clearly lived an easy well respected existence, and been garaged and cherished by a doting owner, which is consistent with the low mileage survivor condition, having never even had a radio fitted!

The engine bay is completely original too and is home to the super sweet running example of Holden's bullet proof 2850 inline six coupled to the 4 speed M21 floor change gearbox, which all performs just the way its maker intended, and the driving experience is pretty much exactly what it would have been like way back in 73!

A hard car to find in good original condition today, most sadly got thrashed to death or hotted up and are now long gone, with some surviving to be fully restored, but as they say, they are only original once, and this car proves that.

A very usable 70s Australian Classic car with a character and charm all its own while still being very drivable and an enjoyable affordable classic.
