##SOLD###SOLD###SOLD####

If you like your Hot Rods with a bit of genuine history, then it doesn't get much better than this old survivor.....

This genuine all steel NZ new 32 Sedan was originally Rodded way way back in 1966! so is probably one of the most historical survivors from the sixties still left on the road today.
Needing little introduction to any Hot Rodder with a bit of grey hair this 32 has been the subject of many articles over the years including a recent detailed historical feature in the July 2015 NZ Hot Rod magazine, this old steel Deuce has graced many pages of the NZ Hot Rod magazine in the past, and has been an entrant at many events throughout the country over the years, including being displayed at the original Autoramas of the sixties and seventies!

Starting originally with the genuine all steel body which was channelled in 1966 by Tony Foster over a modified genuine 32 Frame, the solid old body has remarkably remained un-chopped throughout the years, and although having been through several different guises and styles with many custom touches, has always remained registered and on the road.
Having always been a real head turner throughout the years in anything from custom metal flake, to heavily laced paint, and now to the current tread of super clean satin black with classy pin striping, it has always been updated depending on the themes of the period, even rumoured to have been entered in one show in the seventies as a "Seven Window" Coupe!!

This old Rod has been powered by numerous different combos over the decades from Hot Flatheads to the current lively little Small block 302 Ford running a 97 Tri-Carb set up, which runs through to an auto trans and on into a 9 inch diff, it has the traditional styled dropped beam, with disc brakes, and handles and drives just like a proper old Hot Rod should.

At the hands of its current custodian a decent makeover has been carried out sympathetically to retain the nostalgia of the car, but with a lot of detail being applied to cleaning up old work and sorting out a few minor shortcomings from the past, the interior was recently treated to a full leather refit to a high standard of finish, and a lot of period style traditional accessories have been applied to bring this old Rod into the twenty first century, but importantly without losing any of the original old school charm and character.

This is a unique opportunity to own a genuine piece of NZ Hot Rodding history, it's an all steel car, and it has been respectfully fettled to today's standards without losing any of its original charm, she is fully LVVTA certified in line with today's more demanding standards, and is turnkey ready to go.

One look at this old car in person and you can tell your looking at something pretty special......and there really is nothing else quite like a real one!
