When did you last see a really good original looking one of these old darlings??

Kiwi New, RHD, and an auto in the original Red and white, does it really get much better?

Assembled in Fords Lower Hutt assembly plant in 1964, this gorgeous old Compact has survived the decades and has refreshingly managed to retain what appears to be original style running gear, including the sweet running little small block engine, and the worthwhile upgrade from the two speed to a three speed auto, still connected to the original column shifter, having luckily avoided getting the usual hotted up engine, hole in the bonnet, bucket seats, fat wheels, and the mandatory ratchet Hurst shifter that most of them got back in the eighties!
The body on this example is in remarkable condition and shows no signs of having had any major repairs or rust work carried out in the past, displaying great panel fit and nice shut lines, along with very clean original door shuts, and excellent engine bay and trunk areas.

The paint has previously been refinished in the original Coral red colour, complemented by an ivory white roof, and has been done to a high standard of finish presenting very well over all.
The paintwork refinishing included the door shuts, and the trunk areas, but the original paint is still present in the engine bay, and just shows how clean this old car was before getting a decent and historically respectful freshen up.
This example is quite well known to us, and has been a South Canterbury car for many years before residing up in Blenheim more recently, and was known to be a very honest and original survivor before it was cosmetically restored to its current very nice standard, the bright work is all in really nice condition for an old compact, far better than would be expected for original trim, and the bumpers appear to have both been rechromed to finish the overall detailed work off nicely.
The interior is in excellent condition with period style seating, and what appears to be a mix of very nice original fittings and new replacement components including correct door trims, arm rests and full weather seals all round.
The glass is all very clean too, and everything appears to be present and correct including the factory clock and Ford push button radio, and she still has her first issue Black Licence Plates!

Fully seat belted and LVVTA certified for six passengers with recoil lap diagonal front belts, and lap diagonal rears, there really is nothing left to do but drive and enjoy this iconic old Kiwi classic!

These cars just don't come up in this condition any more....you might find a good LHD one, but in factory RHD she's quite simply better than money in the bank!

Inspection will impress a genuine buyer.
