Alright.. it's not a Muscle car...but it is a quirky unique little classic at a very affordable price that has a whole lot of character!
This very honest old survivor is a very early production car, with a very early chassis number and although first registered in 1960 it would appear that this example is actually from the first year of production in 1959 making it a very rare little car.
It has the 948 cc engine, early pressed cardboard dash, white face Speedo, fold down rear seat, grey steering wheel, and the original Chip Basket under dash storage bin, so it is a very very early car.
If your still reading this listing, then you probably know more about these cars than we do, but this is a very solid little classic, the body is remarkably dry and hasn't been patched up at any point, and the paintwork although pretty average and what appears to be a home handy man job, looks ok, and the beauty of that is been like that a very long time, and nothing is breaking out, so you can see exactly how solid it is, and although the photos make the paint look better than it actually is, it still has a pretty cool well used looking patina about it that suits the little car.
The very original interior has all of its original charm, and is like a nice well worn pair of shoes, without the smell!
This little Herald has clearly been someone's pride and joy over the decades, as it appears to have been very well mechanically maintained and comes with a huge amount of spare parts, a lot more than in the photos, including a few NOS items.
A whole lot of fun and a genuine entry level classic for young and old, anyone can fix one, and afford to do so!
