What an absolute little Honey!

This stunning survivor NZ New Mk4 Cortina would simply have to be one of the best original examples left in existence.
This remarkable old survivor was sold and delivered new from Alexandra Motors Ltd in warm dry central Otago back in September 1979 and has lived in the area all of its life with the last long term owner cherishing this old gem for almost 30 years!
The body is beautifully tight and straight and displays what appears to be almost all of the original paintwork around the entire body with only the odd little pencil touch and odd parking ding if you look hard enough... but it's never been accident damaged, and never been welded, and still retains its original perfect chrome bumper blades and genuine Ford lenses all around.

The interior is in exceptional condition for the age too, no cracks in the dash, no staining on the chevron cloth, and the original carpets are still in place having had protective mats over them for many years.

The engine bay, door shuts and boot areas are just as good as the rest of the car, and it is almost unbelievable that you are actually looking at a car that is now on the other side of 40 years of age...

The trusty old 2.0 over head cam engine runs nicely and is more than capable of keeping up with today's traffic, and the manual gearbox shifts nicely, and over all this is simply a very user friendly and very easy classic car to drive.

Original never painted Rostyle wheels with the correct caps and wheel bands finish this example off to perfection, and this little Cortina drives just like they did way back in 79!

Proudly built and assembled right here in NZ, remember the good old days when we did that?
Nice to see an great example of one of these in a good colour too, and they do say the red ones were always faster!
A really neat survivor and very usable old school Blue Oval Kiwi classic car that will happily travel around the country in period comfort and style, and won't break the bank.

Inspection will impress a genuine buyer.
