Built recently by a local Hot Rodder this old style Woody Wagon is a turnkey fully LVVTA certified driver, and has proved itself to be a reliable great driving Hot Rod which is being offered well under what it would cost to build from scratch again today...

Starting with a scratch built custom chassis the running gear consists of a strong running and ever reliable small block 283 cubic inch Chevy, fitted with alloy heads, headers and a four barrel, which is running into a 700r Over Drive automatic transmission, and on into a late model Mazda fully independent rear suspension cradle set up, while also adapted to the chassis is the same model Mazda fully independent front suspension assembly giving the car full four wheel independent suspension, four wheel power disc brakes, and power steering, making this unit a very well mannered driver, with strong reliable components, and the durability and usability of a modern style car.

The bodywork consists of a replica Model A cowl and full fenders with a full handmade custom Woody Wagon rear section built using varnished Kauri, and American White Oak battens, with side panels just crying out for some period signage or artwork!

The interior is fully functional and designed to be used every day with bucket seats, custom door trims, a custom under dash shifter, and full new lap diagonal seat belts rounding out the package, while a full Dakota digital dash instrumentation package takes care of the necessities.

This little Hot Rod has been built with functionality in mind, it's not so expensive or so precious that it can't be used, it's been built to be driven, and driven every day, and it suits the task well.

A lot of fun for the money, and it certainly does turn heads!
