How cool is this bright Magenta beauty! This stunning 34 tudor will certainly get you noticed the next car event!
A genuine Henry Ford steel 34 2 Door sedan forms the basis for this stunning Hot Rod, and an excellent photographic history of the detailed build accompanies this machine showing the build from the absolute bare bones, to completion.
Originally built in the USA from a very nice original body shell this example would have no doubt been absolute state of the art in the Billet era from which it came, which saw some amazing looking Hot Rods defined by Billet alloy, shaved bodies, and stunning pastel paint schemes, with neat custom interiors.
The body although an older build now still presents very well, and has some trick features including a 2 inch chop, filled roof, shaved door handles with hidden poppers, and a full custom tilt forward hood cover with removable side panels.
The paintwork is still in really nice order with only a few wee marks from being enjoyed, and it clearly obvious it was a high quality job when originally completed, as its stood the test of time well, and with neat subtle pin striping around the swage lines it still turns heads just like a Hot Rod should!
The running gear under pining this cool Hot Rod consists of a custom Heidts chassis, with the tried and tested Mustang II front end, including rack and pinion steering, and power assisted disc brakes, while out the back is a Ford 9 inch running a 31 spline 3.25 ratio set up, with large drum brakes.
Nestled between the chassis rails is a very sweet running 350 Small block Chevrolet running a Performer manifold, Edelbrock cam, Sanderson Headers, HEI ignition, and a full HPC coated twin exhaust system, coupled up to a bullet proof TH350 trans which has been shift kitted, and the package performs beautifully, with very decent road manners.
The comfortable custom cloth interior is in excellent order with recessed pressed door trim accents which was a popular trend for the time, and is finished in a hard wearing very nice looking tweed cloth, with a custom billet alloy dash housing quality white faced gauges, a tilt steering column with LeCarra wheel, and fully electric tinted glass.
Big polished billet alloy wheels in the iconic big and little combination complete the theme and give this unique Rod a style that is unmistakable Hot Rod.
A nice clean turnkey Hot Rod that was clearly built very well with no expense spared and genuine attention to detail, and as the result this example is still a decent Older style Hot Rod that still has a quality built look today.
Fully LVVTA certified, and ready to go, this proven well travelled Hot Rod will certainly provide plenty of smiles per gallon, and represents a whole lot of steel Hot Rod for the money!
