Built by a local well respected Hot Rodder and previous low volume certifier as his own personal car this masterpiece is just as good as you would expect from someone who has been around and involved in the scene all of his life.

Built from scratch in 2016 from the ground up starting with a well detailed boxed original chassis, the running gear consists of a heavily detailed LS-1 5.7 running modified ICU with custom headers, coupled up to a 4L60E Automatic, and running back to a Commodore diff in a four bar setup with QA1 adjustable coil overs.
The front suspension is a Heidts Mustang II fully independent set up complete with power steering, and the stopping duties are handled via four wheel power assisted duel master cylinder disc brakes.

The body is a Deuce Customs unit fully steel reinforced with a reinforced steel floor, side intrusion bars and burst proof latches and handles. The spectacular body runs a genuine 36 hood and waterfalls along with a genuine grille complete with Grey Hound, and correct headlamps.

A custom easily operated hand fabricated cloth hood has been built for wet weather use, and custom side curtains also give reasonable weather protection and comfort on a long trip.

The paintwork is magnificent and the colour is called Alchemy which has to be seen to be appreciated, the metallic is sensational, and its further complemented by a Storm grey coloured marine vinyl custom stitched interior with the seating legally belted for three. A custom Dakota digital dash JVC sound system with reversing camera, and Flaming river column and a Locar shifter are also nice touches.

Brizt alloy bumpers and a set of American Racing classic style alloys 15x7 and 15x9 with just the right stance make this 36 a real head turner.

This gorgeous Roadster has been on the road now for five years and has travelled 18,000 trouble free Kms throughout the country proving itself to be a fantastic tourer with lovely manners.

Previously featured in the NZ Hot Rod magazine and a top ten car in 2017 at the Pre 49 nationals in Taupo, among many other trophys and awards, which were all well deserved.
