This cool old Chevy is an old Hot Rod that was believed to have been originally built in the 70s which was purchased by our vendor as a drivable old school Rod with draylon velvet trim and bigs and little's many many years ago...

After many years of faithful service as she was the decision was made to give her a bit of a birthday... and you know how that goes.....several tens of thousands of dollars and many hundreds of man hours later this stunning 38 you see before you is the result of that journey..the tight old body which was clearly a good base to begin with has been treated to an amazing coat of Jet black that still looks wet and as if you could put your hands right through it, complemented by subtle traditional old style ghost flames in silver grey and a shine you can see for miles!

The interior is finished in a one off custom fabricated style with a two tone theme, complete with molded door trims and lots of little details that you see each time you open the door, while the dash layout includes all new Hot Rod gauges in a billet surround with a custom locking column, full electric windows, and a full set of seat belts were also included for driver safety and comfort.

The detailed 4 barrel 350 Chevrolet Small block sits proudly in a boxed original chassis with a fully independent L200 front beam, complete with five stud vented discs brakes, and is fitted with a Commodore power steering rack and pinion, while moving back further down the line is a 700R4 Over Drive automatic transmission with a Locar shifter, feeding the power on into a V8 Holden diff.

All new tinted glass, rubbers and weather seals have been fitted throughout, and although It looks like this Chevy hasn't seen the rain since its restoration, the thought was there, and this cool old Rod has also been fitted out with a decent integrated CD stacker stereo system, and hidden neon show lights.

Very decent manners on the road and a great comfortable over all user friendly appeal make this one hard to beat if you like traditional old 30s Hot Rods that actually drive how they look...
