How cool is this old Darling!

This magnificent old Coupe is a Californian native that was clearly a lovely dry old car before it was thoroughly restored in the early nineties, and had only travelled around three thousand miles since a body off restoration, being imported to NZ and arriving here on our shores in 2016.

Although older now the restoration was clearly very well done as this old coupe presents beautifully with an exceptional body and lovely paintwork.

The Iconic flathead V8 residing in the engine bay ticks over beautifully and is unbelievably smooth with plenty of period power running back into a recently fully rebuilt gearbox, and through to an original diff, complete with hydraulic brakes front and rear.

The restoration included a new wiring loom throughout and a full interior refurbishment which is an absolute joy to behold.

All new or refurbished genuine stainless trim adorns the gorgeous body and offsets the classic period Marron paintwork to perfection while slightly widened solids with moon caps and genuine Coker Classic wide whites with beauty rings round out the appearance package.

Loaded with period extras like a genuine Ford radio, original clock and the magnificent Lebaron Bonney styled trim this old V8 really takes you back to a time when these cars where simply beautiful just for the sake of it.

A really nice example this old Coupe drives and performs just as it should with lovely manners and with the gorgeous art deco styling and tear drop head lamps, really does just put a smile on your face.

Although an older restoration now, this car hasnt done a lot of work, so still presents well with only the odd blemish and mark from being enjoyed, so overall is an absolute honey of a car.

A decent file of documentation and receipts and the original Title from the USA accompany this coupe, and she will stand any inspection by a genuine buyer.
