One of the all time greatest body shapes of the pre war era, the unmistakable gorgeous flowing lines of the 39 V8 Deluxe Coupe.....

This magnificent Jet Black Coupe has quite obviously had a very cherished existence which is clearly evident upon inspection of the general condition of the body work, a very straight solid car, this coupe shows no signs of ever having had any major surgery carried out, and retains what appears to be all of the original sheet metal.

The body and grille are in remarkable original condition, as is the unique Deluxe trim and bright work, including all of the chrome and glass.

Having been painted many years ago in what appears to be old lacquer the paint is starting to show its age now, but still presents well over all with the expected bumps and bruises of older paintwork, yet still retaining a nice authentic aged patina, which could be easily fettled further if so desired.

The interior is in excellent condition and still retains all of the original Deluxe fittings and fixtures, including the dash board clock and factory radio (which still hums) and the lovely cloth interior looks completely authentic with all of the wood grain finishes looking period correct.

The period running gear consists of a strong running 24 Stud Flathead coupled to an original gearbox which shifts nicely, through to an original diff assembly and of course hydraulic brakes, all of which makes the driving experience just the way it should be.

The solid old chassis and suspension has recently undergone a decent makeover with the addition of brand new set of brake drums all round, new mono-leaf springs front and rear, and a dropped I- beam, setting her up for that just right period old school timeless 50s Hot Rod look.

This gorgeous shape and stylish lines of this magnificent 39 are further enhanced by the addition of a new set of Vintique solids with proper BFG wide whites setting the tone nicely.

A great looking Coupe with nice road manners, which would be a very difficult car to replace today......
