This Cool old 55 Sports Coupe was previously an award winning show car Stateside prior to being imported to NZ back in 2015, and although an older restoration now that has been driven and enjoyed, she has the odd chip and mark, so her top end show days probably behind her, but make no mistake this cool 55 still presents very well with a head turning appeal that will certainly impress at your local Cars and Coffee!

A good clean old body has been refinished in a magnificent deep Plum burgundy metallic complemented by a white pearl top half in the traditional Two Tone Bel Air style which has a timeless appeal, and it appears that the older but tidy paintwork has remained untouched for at least the last ten years, so if anything was going to let it down, it would have done so by now.

The very comfortable interior is fully retrimmed in a quality tuck and roll cloth with the factory split bench seating, and Vintage Air A/C has been integrated for further comfort on the hot cruising days, while a Dakota digital dash has also been fitted into the original iconic dash to monitor the goings on, along with a custom tilt column so you can get everything right where you want it to be for your cruising pleasure.

The running gear powering this iconic Tri Five Coupe is a sweet running 350 ci small block coupled up to a TH400 which makes a nice usable combination with plenty of power to get the job done, yet still be nice and usable with decent manners out on the road.
Power steering and power disc brakes up front complete the package, and all of the tasteful upgrades are fully LVVTA certified.

Tidy stainless brightwork and trim complement the two tone paintwork, and polished Torque Thrust alloy wheels with raised white lettered tires give this one the period hot rod style that these cars became so popular for in the late sixties early seventies.

Some of the chrome is showing its age a little, and this is an area that could be improved if you wanted to go that way, but over all this neat Tri Five presents and drives very nicely.

A hard car to replace in this condition for the money.. and with a new warrant and full certification for the upgrades, almost impossible today...
