A full rotisserie restoration has been performed on this magnificent 57 by local well respected trades people here in NZ, and as such has been done to a very high standard.

The beautiful body work on this Nomad has been treated to a quality coat of paint in the original Indian Ivory over Matador Red, and has been completed in lacquer for that period correct glass smooth finish, and it is simply stunning in person!

Highly polished chrome and trim complement the style of this Top of the Line Bel-Air model, and the contrasting red and black interior with chrome piping is simply spectacular.

Running a delightfully smooth fully rebuilt 283 4 barrel small block V8 through to a Power Glide automatic transmission, this example also received the desirable Power Steering and Power Assisted brakes, so she had the lot right from the word go, and would have been an expensive and special car back in the day.

The detail throughout this example is beautiful and although restored some time ago she still presents very nicely today with a highly detailed and sympathetic to the period quality restoration with everything present and correct just the way it would have been back in the Fifties.

A fully comprehensive record of the painstaking restoration has been detailed by the restorer of this magnificent 57 outlining the calibre and detail of the work accomplished throughout the entire build, and it makes for a very interesting read... quite simply you couldn't restore this vehicle to this standard today for anywhere near this price, this example was originally imported here in the Late Eighties when you could still find an affordable and worthwhile example in the US, and still afford to have it restored to this level here in NZ... you would need a lot of luck today to do it for under $200k...
