Ever wondered what a brand spanking new 57 Ford Fairlane 500 looked like in when it rolled off the line? well this is as close as you would ever get to finding out!

This immaculate survivor is in unbelievable original condition, and is quite simply every bit as good as it looks!

Previously sold by us many years ago this immaculate old car had at that time travelled a mere 19,000miles and is now showing only 22,000 miles today, having been cherished as the prize possession in a private collection, sadly only being released now as part of a deceased estate.

Now, mileage is something we never put too much weight on with classics, as these cars only have a five digit Speedo, however this example came from a private collection in Minnesota where it is believed to have spent the majority of its 64 years in a Ford dealer showroom, and the overall condition of every component tells you straight away that this is without doubt a very low mileage original example that certainly hasn't seen a lot of work.

The overall condition of the vehicle speaks for itself, when we originally sold this example it still had the factory plastic on the front seat as well, and it still retains some original service stickers from the past decades confirming the original mileage as the years went by.

The body is super straight being rust and accident damage free, and the original black paintwork still gleams to perfection around the entire exterior.
Exceptionally nice chrome trim and stainless bright work adorn the stunning exterior, and all of the original lavish fittings appear to be correct and genuine components along with some nice desirable period correct accessories.

The big smooth 292 Cubic inch V8 engine residing in the immaculate engine bay absolutely purrs, and coupled up to the automatic transmission with Fords Swift Sure Braking and Master Guide power steering this example is an absolute pleasure to drive, even by today's standards this is still a lovely drive.
Ford out sold Chevrolet for 1957 with the new Big Fords, which was quite an achievement given how good the now iconic Bel Air was for the time, but this car would have been hard to beat in her day, she was top of the range for her class, and it would be fair to say it would almost impossible to find another example left anywhere in the world like it today.

Certification for new seatbelts and retro fitted with electric wipers for safety are the only concessions made from her original specification.

A gorgeous example of a now very rare classic Ford that will be a proud addition to any collection, this car is simply beautiful, she drives like a new one would have, and is simply stunning to admire.
