How cool is this neat old girl!

The unmistakable looks and style of the 57 Ford Fairlane, one of the all time greats in the Big Ford line up!

This neat looking New Zealand new example was sold brand new in Right Hand Drive and has been a southern car most of its life, with a known local history,

This old girl has survived the decades to be fully rebuilt a few years ago and was treated to a substantial amount of work to be presented in its current straight tidy condition before being professionally refinished in a stunning electric blue metallic over a vivid white, which contrasts beautifully with the 57s classic lines and stainless side trim.

The running gear of choice is small block Ford of the late model Mustang variety out to 302 cubic inches, with a four barrel and semi high rise performer manifold, and custom tuned length headers, along with some mild dress up gear.

The engine package is coupled up to an AOD Auto O/Drive gearbox, with the addition of power disc brakes having been fitted to the front suspension, which has been lowered down to a nice low stance matching the rear.

The overall package performs very well, with nice manners, and refreshingly for a big low car this 57 drives really well, and looks great doing it too.

Nice refurbished stainless trim and generally clean bright work complements the style and exterior of this big Ford, while the interior is clean and functional, with a period style two tone trim colour combo covering the full bench seats, and near new carpet and hood lining rounding out the tasteful trim package.

Sitting down nice and low on period style Cragar look wide chrome wheels with white letter BFGs this old girl really looks the part!

A very hard car to find today in RHD, and even harder to find in this condition, clearly a whole lot of someone else's time and money has been invested in this big 57 and this is definitely the best way buy them......
