This remarkable old darling is a true survivor car with a real unmistakable character and patina that comes from a cherished and clearly respected existence....

A true one year only model the 1958 was a totally different body style to either the 57 or 59 models, and as such was quite a unique design.

This example was well optioned for the time and came with the 283ci Chevrolet small block engine, coupled to Power Glide automatic transmission, and she also got power steering and power assisted brakes which makes her a real pleasure to drive.

The honest old body is straight and clean with evidence of only one previous old repair having been touched up long ago, and apart from a few small touch ups she remarkably still wears most of the original 1958 paintwork!

The paintwork is starting to show its age a little and has settled in nicely, which is great, with the odd chip and small parking dent around her but still presents very well and although getting a little thin in places looks so good and has a perfect patina that you just simply can't replicate, and it is exactly as you would expect of a truly good honest old car.

The interior is in remarkable order and is totally original with the gold accent trim and cloth inserts presenting very nicely, and it has the rare padded dash option. A nice concession for safety is that she's also been fitted with modern lap diagonal recoil seatbelts matched to the original trim colour.

The exterior chrome and trim is all original and in good order, with a little age but over all still presents well, and looks totally authentic.

One drive in this honey of a fifty Eight takes you straight back to a different time....she drives superbly and as they say there is simply no substitute for weight and power if you want a nice ride, and this old girl proves that point beautifully.

A very hard car to find in this condition today, no nasty surprises with this one, good solid floors, no rusty sills, and fully registered warranted and certified for the seatbelts, turn the key and go.
