Sold new on the 5th of June 1961 from Metropolitan Cadillac in Milwaukee Wisconsin this magnificent big Caddy was delivered to Allis Charmers Manufacturing Co, and would have more than likely been Chauffeur driven for a large portion of its life.

Having clearly been treated to the sort of existence that would be expected with its status, this Caddy has survived the decades to be presented today in very good honest condition having had what appears to be only one exterior repaint from original, and apart from a little cosmetic trim work, is pretty much as it would have been from new.

The interior is still in remarkable order, and is absolutely loaded with accessories, and would appear to have been furnished better than most Sixties American homes!

Nice bright work and trim adorns the sweeping body work and all of the chrome is clean and presentable having clearly been garaged all of its life.

The 390ci V8 residing in the engine bay seems very smooth and happy in its work, and over all this Big Luxury Caddy drives with the style and presence the model has long been well respected for, its long wheelbase making it absolutely float on the open road, and glide along beautifully.

Original handbooks and manuals are retained in the glove compartment, and a file of interesting paperwork also accompanies this Big Caddy.

Well worth a look if you love Swinging Sixties American styling, the style and features in these cars is simply incredible, and this one is no exception.
