This magnificent Thunderbird Convertible is absolutely stunning to behold and a true testament to 60s American Excess, the Space Race and a desire to have the biggest best and most elaborate motor cars in the world!

A simply beautiful thing, the style and presence of this big Bird is undeniable, it really is a true statement car.

Restored a few years ago now but still displaying very well today this big classic Ford has clearly had a lot of time and money invested in it over the years, and appears to have been a major full and thorough restoration at the time.

The body still appears solid with no evidence of any areas breaking out and is relatively very straight considering the size of her, with nice panel fitment and clean lines.

The paintwork is beautifully laid on with a gorgeous flow over the big panels and although this T-Bird has been used and enjoyed it presents very well with only minor imperfections if you are really looking for faults.

The bright work chrome and trim which there is plenty of looks fantastic against the Jet Black paintwork, and the Chromed Tru Spoke wires and white walls suit the style to perfection.

The big Tri Power 390 engine has extensive documentation and receipts for a rebuild, as does the transmission, and having been fitted with power disc brakes up front and a correct style Tri Power 3x2 carburettor set up, this example is a pleasure to drive floating along with ease and looking great doing it!

The sumptuous interior is in very nice order with everything in its place and a desirable easily detachable Roadster option rear section pod turning this big four seater luxury Bird into something straight out of the space age! while tinted glass ,electric windows and electric seat are another neat feature.

A remarkable big classic with amazing presence on the road, this big bird is very hard to miss in traffic, the electric roof operation is a complete work of art, and is all operated by a switch in the door, the work and expense involved in the development of these cars must have been astronomical, and this one has luckily survived to tell the tale.
