How cool is this old darling!

This cool old MK 2 would have ticked every young boys wish list back in the day, and would have been and absolute dream machine for many a young Kiwi bloke!

Imported to NZ from its homeland and first registered here in 2012 this gorgeous old Mk 2 has clearly been the subject of comprehensive older restoration, with the body still generally presenting very well over all, considering the effort and investment that must have gone into saving one of these now very rare cars..

The paintwork although older still presents very well too, and being finished in the lovely two tone Oxford Blue over Baby blue, with all of the delightful decorations of the high class top of the line Zodiac, this one really looks the part.

The extensive Chrome and stainless trim is all present and in very nice order having also been refurbished, and a few now very sought-after period correct accessories have been fitted to enhance the classic Sixties flavour, while the lovely interior continues the two tone theme throughout.

The magic smooth old Six cylinder slugger is very happy in its work ticking over very nicely, and with the addition of free flows and a twin exhaust this one has that lovely unmistakable Zephyr Six burble.

The gearbox shifts nicely, the overall driving experience is period correct , and instantly puts a smile on your face reminding you why these cars were so popular in their day.

A power hood finished in light dove grey complements the overall cosmetic appearance of this old Zodi and correct style proper wide white walls and dress rings complete the period look.

New rubbers and a full retrim have also been completed in the restoration, and with a few miles and a couple of owners here in NZ, the bugs are pretty well ironed out of the restoration, and this one's settled in nicely.

A very hard car to replace today, not many of these have survived, even less in the UK probably, but this is one of the few lucky survivors, and a top of the range Low line car too, so you don't really get much better than this.

A very cool old car and a real hark back to another era of simpler times, this Zodiac will impress a genuine buyer, as it is still a very user friendly classic.

If you are particularly fussy there is some evidence of previous work around the body if you know what to look for, and where to look, but show me one that hasn't... they are 60 years old now.

Over all this is quite simply a nice clean well presented example of a now exceptionally rare car.
