This stunning 64 Galaxie Hard Top Coupe is one of the most genuine and lovely examples of this model we have ever seen!

A local CH CH car that spent many decades stored up on blocks in the States making this the ultimate survivor car.
When old girl arrive here in NZ around 10 years ago, the super straight solid body was treated to a very classy coat of her original bright red, which is still immaculate and further complemented by the correct black top, while a full and comprehensive over haul of the drive line was completed relatively recently too, including rebuilding the big 390 and the transmission and most recently the diff, while the brakes and suspension also received treatment for compliance.

The smooth FE engine runs like a clock and is fitted with a desirable Tri Power triple carburettor setup and period finned alloy rocker covers which all adds the its performance and appeal.

The body is unbelievably straight which is an accomplishment in itself having back guards the length of an air craft carrier! while all of the chrome jewellery bumpers moulds and trim are all in very nice order , so having clearly having lived a decent life and cherished existence, this example displays exceptionally well today.

The interior tells the real story of how good this old Galaxie is with original seat covers and door trims represented of a good honest unmolested car, you cant fake a good honest car no matter how much reproduction stuff you use, its only original once, and if its a good as this then you know its a good car.

All of the glass rolls up and down nicely, and with all of the windows down the interior is a very cool place to be.
