Well known to us this amazing old Comet Caliente Coupe has been a feature around the Ch Ch car scene lately, it was originally a one owner California native before arriving to our shores a few years back, and unbelievably it is still wearing almost all of its original paint and still has its near perfect original Deluxe bucket seat interior!

A genuine low mileage car it has a remarkable super dry damage and rust free body, you would struggle to find a better one to be fair, it's simply that clean.

As would be expected at this age, she has a few minor parking dings and the original paint is wearing very thin on the sharp edges, and is polished right through in a couple of spots which all adds to the super cool patina , and the genuine authentic California survivor appeal.

Running a very lively sweet little 289 V8 4 barrel coupled to a fully rebuilt 4 speed Top Loader complete with a Hurst shifter, power disc brakes and power steering this Comet is an absolute little honey! its super easy to drive, a whole lot fun and very easy to live with. This really is a very cool package, and is a car you will find yourself making excuses to drive!

Great chrome and trim and an amazing original fully loaded Deluxe interior complete with working A/C really set this one off, and the immaculate original trunk area gives another indication of how honest this clean old Mercury really is.

These 60s Comet Hard Tops earned a fearsome reputation in the day on Drag strips and top Circuits around the world due to their relatively powerful nimble lightweight bodies, they were nice and compact with the manners of a good early Mustang, with a cool Sixties Hard Top style, and this one is a tip of the hat to those days with its bonnet pins, Cyclone Scoop and Rev Counter, Torque Thrust wheels and the Hurst shift manual!
