This genuine 16637 vin coded Super Sport Impala Hard Top has had an absolute fortune spent on it to be presented in the condition it is in today, and it shows throughout the build.

Starting with what was obviously a clean old car the huge body has been refinished in a stunning deep metallic jade green which accentuates the bold coke bottle styled lines of this impressive big Coupe, making it easy to see why they were such an instant success way back in 65!

The sweet running engine residing in the nice tidy bay is a fully rebuilt 350 cubic inch small block, running alloy heads, an Edelbrock alloy manifold, new 4 barrel, tuned headers, and full MSD ignition system, which is then coupled to a rebuilt TH350 automatic trans, and on into a 10 bolt diff, with all new springs and shocks.

The stopping duties are taken care of by a full four wheel power disc brake conversion, and being equipped with power steering, this machine is just as impressive to drive, as it is to look at, and has proven itself to be an easy car to live with over all.

The interior has been retrimmed in a custom half cloth half vinyl style and this example has also been fitted with a custom made one piece polished wood dash panel housing a full complement of Auto meter gauges to keep you up to date with what's happening under the hood.

A full new rubber and felt kit has been fitted in the restoration of this big Chevy, and slightly tinted glass has also been fitted for comfort as well as enhancing the menacing stance of this impressive big cruiser.

A new set of 20 inch highly polished chrome alloys and low profile tires were chosen for the build and being such a large car fill the arches up and make this one look super low while still driving well considering the style.

New chrome and bright work rounds off the package, and sets itself off beautifully against the deep dark body colour, giving this impressive Big Chevy a unique style and look all of its own.

A lot of money has clearly been spent here, and as anyone who has restored a full size Chevy will tell you it's a lot cheaper to buy one already done......so if this style of Classic Americana with a modern twist appeals to you, here's your chance!
