This neat and very stylish looking mid Sixties Futura coupe is quite a cool alternative to the iconic classic Mustang from the same period if your that way inclined, and while the Futura has the same over all character and manners on the road that we have come to love from the iconic classic Mustang, this cool coupe is just that little bit different from the rest of the crowd.

A neat car in its gorgeous turquoise metallic finish with contrasting interior trim this Futura has had a small fortune spent on it since arriving here on our shores, the original 289 has received a full rebuild and some decent minor upgrades including a new alloy radiator and full MSD ignition system to name a few, and the automatic transmission has also been fully rebuilt along with the diff, all of which is documented in the extensive receipt file retained with the car, with invoices dating back many years from both here and the USA including a photo file of works completed, while desirable power steering and disc brakes up front make this example a real pleasure to drive.

A tidy car but no show pony, this little gem was basically a daily driver and as such has a few bumps and chips, and the paintwork although good is far from perfect, however it is still very presentable and the benefit with this one is that you can actually enjoy using the car without worrying about your big dollar paintwork!!

The body appears to be very solid, and short of a couple of older repairs if you know what to look for is relatively straight and tidy with a good honest overall appeal.

Tidy chrome and trim and a nice new set of period hustler style alloys gives this Coupe a traditional sixties flavour and a cool overall appearance.
