This gorgeous 65 Convertible was born on the 20th of August 1964 for the 65 model year, and lived the bulk of its life State Side before coming to NZ where it was the subject of a thorough restoration carried out here in NZ to a very high standard of finish, and as such has previously won awards and trophies for its impressive overall presentation.

This Mustang was ordered from new as a C-Code 289 V8 car with the Cruise-O-Matic transmission and Power Steering, and also has a power assisted brakes, all of which makes for a very nice driver.

The body on this classic Pony appears to have had many hours of love and attention lavished on it with exceptional gaps, beautiful straight lines and excellent panel fitment, displayed throughout, fair to say somewhat better than they were from new.

The paintwork has been professionally refinished throughout in a quality two Pac which has flowed on beautifully, and looks fantastic being the correct Wimbledon White which is one of the most iconic and desirable colours of the period.

The engine bay is home to a beautifully detailed 2v 289, with its correct fittings and fixtures all in place, and the engine bay has also been treated to the same care and attention as the rest of the car, with a very nice appearance and finish.

An immaculate black crinkle vinyl interior is correct to the car, and also fitted is the desirable full centre console, twin sports mirrors, and factory tinted glass.

Further nice features are the factory power operated hood and stainless luggage rack, along with proper white side wall tyres.
