The timeless style of the classic first generation Mustang Rag top!

This pretty little 65 Convertible really looks the part in deep Sapphire blue metallic complemented by an off white hood, and an old school set of period Hustler alloys!

Arriving here in NZ in the early nineties, this example has clearly been driven and enjoyed while being pretty well maintained, and appears to be a very good solid honest old survivor.

Ordered new as an A-Code 4 barrel 289 cubic inch car, this one also got the 4 speed manual transmission, making it a little more special, as well as a power operated hood.

The body is very honest and appears pretty solid with no obvious nasty lumps or bumps and the paintwork although older presents well with a decent shine and only the expected few marks and chips associated with an un restored car in this price range, but still looks good and can be driven and enjoyed without the fear of damaging your high dollar paintwork!

The interior is also clean and honest and still very presentable too having clearly had some work at some point in the recent past, and looks great with the desirable two tone Pony trim.

Nice chrome and bright work complements the overall appearance of this neat old Mustang, and looks really sharp against the deep body colour.

The engine seems very happy in its work, sounds great and performs well, with a nice smooth shift offered up by that cool bent trigger style shifter, and over all this is a pretty easy car to live with, and would make for a great daily classic driver.

Simply just a clean old Convert that would still hold its head up at your local car show, but would be equally happy with the dog in the back cruising to the beach for an ice cream!
