A well known Canterbury Hot Rodder and respected panel beater handpicked this big beauty Stateside a few years back when you could still source a good solid one, and then decided to embark on the full and extensive rebuild... the impressive result of that is what you see before you today!

The clean sun burned body was striped back completely and cleaned up thoroughly, re-gapped and lined up properly before being prepared for the sparkling custom purple pearl 2 Pac mix that has been layed on to a high quality standard to further accentuate the bold and very stylish sweeping lines of this sleek big Chevy.

Custom ghost flame work and mild graphics where added by a local award winning air brush artist, and complement the theme of this classic cruiser to give it a traditional old school show car look.

The body work was completed to the same standard with all new side trim, brand new bumpers, and all of the weather trims and seals have been replaced as well.

The interior is completely refurbished, and complements the colour of the car to perfection in crisp white with the traditional style SS trim, sporting bucket seats and a full SS console.

The heart of this big beast is impressive to say the least...a stroked 454 ci engine resides in the detailed engine bay and has been punched out to 505 ci with forged internals, it is also running highly desirable genuine GM period performance Winters casting mark snow flake all alloy heads, which have also had the treatment, and the Big Block power runs back into a rebuilt TH400 auto, and on into a nine inch Ford diff.

Cross drilled disc brakes are power assisted, and adjustable shocks have been fitted along with reset springs, CPI dropped spindles, and a fully rebuilt power steering box to get the combination to perform right.

All of the work on this magnificent Sports Coupe has been being carried out here in NZ by respected trades people at great expense, and the result is quite simply a really nicely presented powerful, yet refreshingly user friendly package.
