The last and arguably the best of the original Sting Rays... the legendary 67 427 C2 Coupe.

This sensational looking Big Block Manual Sting Ray is a very well known and long term owned local Canterbury car, that belonged to its very passionate owner for many years giving faithful service, and being present at many Corvette shows and events around the country, and both the car and owner where well respected for good reason.

A genuine authentic car guy its doting owner lovingly maintained and improved this example after finding it Stateside many years prior, developing it into a reliable and user friendly strong old performer that presents well, and it got driven, and thoroughly enjoyed!

The body is in good clean order for an early Corvette, and presents very well overall, and although not a show pony, still looks the part, the older paintwork is very nice and has a great cared for and maintained authentic look with the odd stone chip and blemish worn as a badges of honour, and making it look like its actually been enjoyed.

Really nice chrome and trim complement the lovely deep Goodwood Green Metallic, and the white accent stinger hood really looks the part on this example leaving little doubt what you're up against!

The interior is all class in these 67s and this one is no exception, the lovely deep moss green trim is complemented by those unmistakable and simply magnificent big gauges and a beautiful rose wood steering wheel, this example also having the benefit of tinted glass and power windows.

The engine is a strong performing period correct Big Block with a block casting number which can be related to a 1966 427 Corvette unit, and this is coupled to a smooth shifting 4 speed manual transmission, and of course being a 67, 4 wheel disc brakes are standard equipment .

One drive of this serious old Big Block Bruiser will have you hooked, the pure sound it makes is music and the character and attitude that it feeds back when your behind the wheel is pure American Swinging Sixties Magic!

Anyone who has ever done their homework will know this is a whole lot of car for the money... you certainly wouldn't replace it today from the states for this money, and if you actually want the full experience of to driving a proper Sixties American Muscle Car that isn't too precious to use, then you may have found your dream C2.

They are meant to be driven....not hidden away, and this one's a lovely old survivor, that will put a smile on your face, it might not be a matching numbers NCRS trophy winner, but it's not $180k either..... and who wants a car you are too scared to drive??
