This absolutely gorgeous Burgundy Metallic Rag Top is wee stunner!

The colour is a Maserati mix according to the receipts file, and it is simply magnificent when the sun hits it.

With a receipts file and invoices that would make your eyes water.. this Convertible was restored locally here in CH CH by a company called Brands Hatch Restorations a few years ago now, but really hasnt done a whole lot of work since.

The gorgeous body work presents beautifully as does the lovely paintwork displaying a finish which was clearly an expensive coat of paint from the outset.

The interior is finished in genuine soft black leather hide, with European style carpeting and a lot of new and replacement components to add detail, including a Grant steering wheel and full console, while to power operated roof is made of a quality European style cloth, rather than the standard fabric.

The engine powering this little gem is a sweet running C Code 289 which has historical receipts for works completed, and this example is equipped with power steering and power disc brakes up front, which make it a real pleasure to drive.

Headers and a twin system give this classic pony a nice soundtrack out the back, and remind you youre driving a proper old school V8, while new chrome and trim around the exterior and a nice set of GT styled steels really finish this classic Mustang to a period correct appearance, and it is simply just a neat looking car that really turns heads out on the road.

There is always room for improvements with old classics if thats your thing, but this one has had a lot of time and money invested to bring it up to the standard it is presented in today, with all the really hard work already done, so if you want a nice cruiser for those lazy summer days, this could be the one!
