Sold by us many years ago this example was a very honest lovely old survivor at that time, and has more recently been treated to a very comprehensive cosmetic makeover complete with an exceptional coat of paint in its original stunning shade of Verdoro Green metallic, further complemented by a refurbished interior kit, including new door trims, seat jackets, and moulded carpeting which all looks very fresh and correct.

A genuine 400 ci optioned example from new, this gorgeous looking Firebird really ticks the boxes with the Ram Air style bonnet scoops and super cool hood mounted tachometer, giving a real Muscle flavour to this staunch late Sixties icon.

The correct style sports wheels caps and bands have been refurbished as well, and all of the chrome and trim is in immaculate order most of it having been refinished or restored.

The body on this car was always very tight and clean but it has certainly had some serious hours invested in the obvious preparation for the paintwork, as it is really nice and precisely what this special Pontiac deserves.

A really nice driver with perfect period road manners and a lovely user friendly feel, this is a car you would be very happy to own.

Arguably a better general spec than its Camaro Cousin of the period, the Firebird 400 ticks a lot of boxes by comparison, and as not as many have survived it makes them quite a rare and desirable bird today.

A hard car to replace today as prices for these cars Stateside has risen dramatically over the last few years, and you would be hard pushed to find one this clean, while the price in US Dollars would certainly reflect that fact, the freight and compliance today would also be a major obstacle....
