Introducing Big Red! the instantly recognisable and absolutely Iconic 68 Dodge Charger!

One of the lucky survivors that dem Darn Duke Boys didn't get their hands on!

Arriving on our shores in 2015 Big Red was originally purchased through the respected Vanguard Motor Sales in Motor City Detroit, who are known worldwide for the calibre of cars they stock and sell throughout the world.

According to the extensive documentation and receipts file that accompanies this magnificent beast this iconic B-Body Charger was originally born a big block car and this example is believed to have spent the bulk of its life in Irving Texas before being purchased in the late nineties as a daily driver and subsequently undergoing a comprehensive full ground up rotisserie restoration carried out in the early through to late 2000s.

The huge body is beautifully straight with exceptional panel fitment and is refinished in a magnificent coat of beautiful Victory Red with a black tail stripe and Hemi hood scoop giving a simply stunning visual impact that screams Muscle Car!

The under body engine bay and trunk area are all detailed to a high level of finish and although an older build now this impressive Charger has done very little work so still presents as if it were recently finished.

According to the paperwork this impressive big brute is powered by a worked 69 440ci engine stroked to 500 ci with a Pro Form carb, and a 545 lift cam, roller rockers, M1 Mopar Stage VI intake and matched Stage VI High Performance alloy heads, and running 10.5 to 1 pistons, while the transmission is a 727 High Performance unit built to Hemi specs, with a 3500 stall converter, and attempting to get all that power down is a Sure Grip 3.55 to 1 rear end out back.

The interior is a work of art finished in custom stitched tweed throughout, with this theme extending to the door trims and hood liner, while a completely restored dash has custom white face stock instruments, a grant steering wheel, full length centre console, and the original thumb wheel radio.

All new rubbers and fittings where including in the exstenvie build of this impressive Charger, and the receipts for new parts from Year One in the USA are eye watering....

Big Torque Thrust period style alloys and raised white lettered tires complete the visual impact and complement the overall style of this magnificent Late Sixties American Muscle Car.

This big Charger has a real menacing presence on the road, but is surprisingly user friendly and pleasant to drive.. until you poke it with a stick....
