What a little ripper!

The good old Mk2 Cortina, these car used to be on every street corner, but not anymore...

This neat little survivor really looks the part in deep its British Racing Green with a neat black interior, and sits down on a nice set of wide chromed Rostyles giving it a real old school back in the day appeal.

This old 2 Dr presents well with what appears to be a solid old body and is a genuine 2 door car, the ID tag, chassis number and registration paperwork represent the car as having left the factory as a 2 Dr GT, however as with most of these old GTs, the car is now well over fifty years old and it's been thoroughly enjoyed throughout the decades, with this example also seeing some classic competition use in the not too distant past, so if you're a GT rivet and spot weld counter, and want a perfect and totally accurate numbers matching car, then you may want to look at spending a lot more money trying to get a fully documented original owner example, because this quite simply isn't that car...

With that said, this little gem presents well and goes great, it's fun to drive with its strong little 1600 engine running a Webber and free flows, and is a real blast to drive with its quirky period character and charm complete with the usual bumps and rattles!

The older paintwork is clean and tidy with the expected blemishes, but overall the presentation is more than acceptable for an unrestored but cosmetically maintained example. The neat black interior is in good order with the way cool series one GT gauges sitting up proudly on the dash, and the interior trim is a mix of both original fittings and some recently refurbished components, making it a pretty cool place to sit back and enjoy a Sunday cruise.

Presentable chrome and trim adorn the exterior and this one would be a great basis for a bit more cosmetic fettling if that's your thing, or simply just get in and drive the wheels off it! either way it's a cool little car that turns heads like nothing else!
