This lovely old Notchback is a real time capsule!

This very honest original car has been in NZ since the early 80s, and was with the same local car enthusiast owner for many many years, before being sold by us to its last lady owner.

Obviously religiously serviced and babied, this clean old Coupe comes with a very extensive receipts file dating right back to the early seventies when she was still residing in sunny California, from the Ford dealer who sold her new!

The super smooth C -Code 289 V8 is coupled to an equally smooth shifting automatic trans, and with the optional power steering this classic Mustang is an absolute pleasure to drive, rating as one of the nicest examples we have ever driven, the super tight rattle free body is very clean and straight, and still retains some original paintwork, with what appears to be all of the original chrome and bright work trim,

The interior is very tidy and clean, having had new correct carpet fitted some time ago, and is generally a whole lot better than would be expected for the age,

The engine bay and all of the fittings under the hood are present and correct, and the same applies to the trunk, where the original trunk mat and paintwork is still present,

This is a very genuine honest survivor car in excellent original condition, the Daimond Blue paintwork although showing its age is still very presentable with a decent shine, this little gem also has an exceptional body, and would be without a doubt one of the best driving Mustangs we have ever offered for sale,

This classic Mustang looks great on the 15 period Cragar SS wheels, with traditional BFG tires, but is also being sold complete with the original 68 steering wheel, and the factory fitment full face hubcaps, if you wanted to return it back to completely stock standard.

Also included with this little gem is the original purchase invoice from Mc Laughan Ford in 1968 for the then new price of $3,259.48!
