Now this is a rare find...A genuine factory optioned RS/SS 350 1970 Chevrolet Camaro.

This Camaro is quite unique in the fact that it can actually be proven to be a real documented Van Nuys built LA car, built in April of 1970 and sold new with both the Rally Sport and a Super Sport options, making it a rare survivor today.

Just when is seems that Every Camaro from this era seems to miraculously become an "SS" when its restored, it's refreshing to find one that actually is....

Running what appears to be the original numbers matching 300hp 350 engine, and a staple shift TH 350, this example also has the 12 bolt diff from factory, and a rear sway bar, unique to the 70 SS or Z28 high performance models.

A very honest example this Camaro has never had a full restoration, and remains largely unmolested today, the body appears to be very solid and straight, and the older repaint it has had sometime in the past in Hugger orange with white run ways although now starting to show its age, still presents reasonably well for a nearly 50 year old Muscle Car.

The interior is equally original, with tidy seating in Deluxe spec Sandalwood, and being Deluxe this example also has the styled custom seating and wood grain accent door trims, with the full centre console.

This Camaro has been an everyday driver for a number of years and has proved itself to be a good reliable example, and has generally been maintained as such.

A very solid and complete example of a now rare model, this Camaro would clean up very well with a little detail work and make a really nice investment car, or just drive her as is and enjoy.
