This staunch old EL Camino is believed to have been ordered as an SS Big Block from day one, and remarkably has survived over 50 years to tell the story...

These Pick Ups would have got treated way worse than the cars ever did so to find a survivor today is certainly not an easy task...

This old ELKY appears to have had a decent refurbishment a while back, and still presents very well today, it's got a few blemishes as would be expected but then again it is half a century old....

The clean body presents well and is painted in a desirable classic Cranbury Red with the black outs running up and over the super cool Cowl Induction hood, and fitted with a period correct black vinyl top this one is all serious unmistakable 70s muscle.

The heart of this big monster is the nice grumpy period Big Block running into a bullet proof TH400 auto , and on into the virtually indestructible 12 Bolt Possi, so this thing would have been and still is today a serious player..

Nice chrome and trim, a lot of it original, adorn the exterior while a neat set of Rally wheels with plane Black side wall tires give an understated but muscular appearance to this cool machine.. this thing has never needed mags to look tough...

A very neat correct interior with a mix of new and original trim is a very nice place to sit back and enjoy the day, and is undeniably Seventies cool with the original radio belting out period tunes!

Tinted glass, power steering and power assisted disc brakes all add to the appeal and make this tough old bruiser a nice driver with generally good manners for the period.

A very hard car to replace today, with similar examples now big dollars Stateside, it just simply wouldn't add up to try, let along get NZ compliance!!!
