Driving like it would have back in the day just adds to the appeal, the engine is strong and pulls really well, the gearbox and shifter is nice and the whole package instantly puts a smile on your face.

The engine which is the original D243A Suffix has clearly been reconditioned at some point, and performs well, while the unique Pacer body numbers and tag are all present along with a fully recorded undisturbed NZTA history from first registration.

All of the rubbers and chrome appear original and have the same well-worn look as the rest of the car.

The very honest original interior has had some minor sympathetic renovation carried out to make it a little more comfortable, as it was shall we say showing signs of having been enjoyed, while the unique dash and correct shifter are all still in place including the super rare correct gear knob which is currently in the glove box, in favour of a genuine three speed Charger golf club head.

Skinny old period tires and the original hub caps just look so right on this example, and the entire car really deserves to be left just as it is and thoroughly enjoyed for another fifty years, but if you wanted the best genuine and complete old Pacer Coupe available to restore, you are probably looking at it.
