A stunning example of the highly desirable and ever sought-after Monaro from 1970! 44 years on, and the look is still as popular as it ever was.....

This neat and tidy HG Monaro has been the subject of an older and comprehensive restoration, and still presents very well today with very a nice straight body, that has been painted up in a lovely two Pac finish in Silver Grey to a very nice standard, a new interior kit has also been fitted in classic deep black vinyl throughout, with new carpets, the correct style GTS steering wheel, full length console, and the traditional GTS dash layout with the integrated rev counter and matching gauges.

All bright work, chrome and trim is in nice condition, and complements the style of the car well, bringing the standard of detail up to a nice quality standard, and this neat old Monaro would look right at home at your local car show, as it presents exceptionally well.

Believed to originally have been a 308 4 speed GTS, (as it has the original 4 speed Saginaw floor hump, etc) this example has now been repowered by a detailed 350 ci Chevrolet small block engine and automatic trans, running into a trusty Ford 9 inch diff, with all modifications fully LVVTA certified, making this is a really nice all round performer, with a great look.

The quality build would have been expensive when originally carried out, and has been completed along the Street Machine theme with a detailed colour coded and de-loomed engine bay, with old school 15 inch Chrome Cragars wheels finishing off the period look.

You dont get a lot of early Monaro for under $50k today........especially not in this condition, and the beauty of this example is it can still be driven and enjoyed regularly without the concerns associated with a big ticket collector car.....
