These cars are instantly recognisable as one of the most Iconic Australian Muscle Cars of all time, and as the passage of time has proved they are now one of the most rewarding investments you can make in the Classic Muscle Car market, and with the supply of rare and desirable cars always substantially below demand, that's not likely to change anytime soon.....

This NZ new example has survived the decades and is thankfully still with us, presented in one of the most popular hero colours for the iconic model, Verdoro Green.

Recently restored to a decent standard this GTS has been built up running a staunch nicely detailed small block 350ci Chevrolet engine, coupled to a four speed Muncie transmission, which then carries on to a 10 bolt diff, and subsequently the performance is pretty impressive for a proper old 70s Muscle Car!

The body has clearly had a lot of previous work to be presented the way it is today, as these cars generally have now, and as a result appears to be very solid with clean and straight bodywork complemented by a decent coat of two pack Verdoro Green metallic with the trade mark Gold GTS stripes, and a nice set of period correct Hustler style alloy wheels.

The interior has had a lot of attention as well and presents very well with a mix of original and quality replacement trim items to complete the restoration, along with the desirable factory radio and steering wheel still present and correct.

The exterior chrome and trim is all in decent order with re chromed bumpers and some refurbishment having been carried out around the trim to bring the package up to a very good standard.

A very rare car today that is now seldom available on the market, this example represents an excellent driver quality car that presents very well overall, but could still be used and enjoyed regularly without being too precious to actually do anything with....

Note: If you know these cars at all, It will be fairly obvious that at this price this car is not a genuine factory built 81837 350 GTS, but it is a genuine GTS car, built in the Page wood assembly plant in Sydney, first registered here in NZ in 1970, and the original tags are present and correct, and appear to have never been removed, being still attached with the correct rivets.
