An unmolested original spec stock standard XY Falcon... does such a thing even still exist today?

This would have to be a rare bird...one that's escaped the GT replica treatment is hard enough to find today, but this one's never even had Mag wheels fitted!

This old doll has been in long term South Island ownership and has only recently become available from the estate of its long time custodian.

Clearly cherished its entire life this example is in good honest condition, and appears to have a pretty clean body that has had an older but quality coat of paint at some point in the original Silver Fox metallic, still retaining what's left of the original paint in the engine bay.

The neat red interior reflects an easy life with original carpets and trim throughout, including one of the best crack free dash tops we have ever seen, and very tidy original door trims and seating.

The 250 cubic inch 4.1 Six is super smooth with plenty of torque and pull and an ease to drive running through the beautifully smooth shifting manual transmission, and with power disc brakes up front the entire package is an absolute pleasure to drive with unbelievably nice manners on the road.

Showing 28k mikes on the clock, having more than likely been around once, this XY genuinely still drives nice and tight like a new one, and we have just put this old girl through the stringent VINZ re registration process as it had lapsed registration, and short of a few little fixes it went through with no major issues, which would be remarkable for a 50 year old Falcon!

A very clean nice driving un tampered with example of a now rare early NZ New NZ assembled Falcon, and with the prices of early Australian classic cars climbing ever skyward, you simply couldn't go wrong with this old honey, a lovely thing to own and no doubt a great future investment.
