The mighty GTS Monaro Coupe!

This stunning example of one of the most iconic Muscle Cars to come out of Australia in the early Seventies has survived the decades to remain with us today as an example of a period in time where cars had unmistakable style and class and where instantly recognisable.

As far as truly collectable Holdens are concerned its hard to beat the first generation Monaro, nothing else really comes close.

The HG Model is considered by some to be the purest of the breed, with clean un cluttered lines and some of the best colours to come from the period.

This gorgeous old Monaro has come to us from the deep South where it has resided for many many years with its long term owners.
The subject of an older but obviously quite thorough restoration at the time, this example has remained in respectful enthusiast ownership, with an extensive record of receipts for works carried put over a large number of years.

The body on this Monaro presents very well with decent panel fitment and lovely straight panels, and looks fantastic in the magnificent Sebring Orange hue with correct satin blackouts and a simply stunning contesting white interior, complete with the correct centre console steering wheel and gauges that all look so cool in these iconic Monaros.

The engine which also has historical rebuild receipts runs nice and strong and is coupled up to the four speed floor shift manual and on into a Ford 8 inch diff for rugged reliability.

The chrome and brightwork is all in very nice order with most having been refurbished, and the windows all roll up and down as they should with a new rubber kit being installed at the time the body work was completed.

This old Monaro is a true Muscle Car of its period, V8 4 Speed no power steer, a proper old school Muscle Car, its happiest out on the open road where you actually have to drive it, but performs well and does have good manners on the road, cruising along nicely.

Old School dep dish wide chrome Cragars give a subtle Street Machine flavour to this cool old Monaro and sitting down with just the right menacing stance this one is all 70s Muscle!

A very cool old car and a very hard car to replace today for the money....
