This would have to be without a doubt one of the most unusual and one of the rarest classic American Muscle Cars we have ever offered to the market.....

This machine is completely out there, it has body styling cues reminiscent of the 70s Challengers and Cudas, Corvettes, Mustangs, you name it, there is a bit of everything in there in its very cool 70s design, and it's a striking looking car with same amazing stylish lines and shapes, but as out there as the exterior is....it has nothing on the interior....

The amazingly original interior in this rare machine really is a sight to behold, and is a real straight out of the 70s psychedelic trip with completely out there swooping lines and colours through the seats into the roof and beyond, but somehow it all works perfectly, which is no doubt testament to the creative genius of the world class designer Pierre Cardin who was involved in the design of the rare limited edition Cardin SST Javelins.

The SST which is believed to stand for Super Sonic Transport was all seventies through and through, and not many have survived the decades, however this example recently released from a private museum is believed to have had an extensive restoration, and certainly appears that way.

The body on this example is beautifully straight, with nice clean panels finished in a stunning coat of deep Jet Black which is pretty much flawless, while exceptionally good chrome and trim around the exterior complement the package.

The running gear is one of the bigger options for 72 being a 360 cube V8 coupled to a super smooth shifting automatic while power brakes and power steering come together and make this 70s bruiser a really nice tight driver with great manners on the road.

This super cool looking car screams "Its the 70s!" and I doubt there would be another one like it here in NZ , with websites giving varying build numbers it appears that very few 72 Cardin's where ever produced, but all that aside... that interior......
