This cool old RS Camaro Rally Sport 350 has been here in NZ since 1974!

Previously sold by us a few years ago this Camaro R/S has proved itself to be a good old well behaved driver that has been very easy to live with.
This is a tidy old example of the ever popular Second Generation Camaro that has survived the decades to tell its tale and is a pretty honest car that appears to have only ever had a mild cosmetic restoration at some point in the past, and although not a show car it is an honest tidy driver which represents great value, as its certainly not priced like a show car either...

The body appears to be solid with tidy panel fitment and has been refinished in a Deep Sapphire blue metallic with Z28 style off white runway stripes and with the Genuine Z28 wheels, big white lettered BFGs and with the front and rear spoilers this one has a true proper 70s American Muscle Car look!

The 350 ci 4 barrel small block is very happy in its work with some nice period dress up detail, and shifts nicely through a TH350 automatic trans and onto a 10 bolt diff with a rear sway bar, while Power steering and power disc front brakes all come together and make this one a real pleasure to drive with nice road manners, and a great over all user friendly appeal.

The interior is tidy clean and functional and is a desirable Deluxe trim level version, with the Rally dash complete with rev counter, and auxiliary gauges, Tilt column, full length centre console with the iconic Staple shifter, wood grain accents on the dash and doors, and has also been treated to a replacement rubber kit.

A very well optioned example, this Camaro came with the RS dress package which includes the highly prised split bumpers and Endura nose cone, as well as factory tinted glass, cloth trim, duel sports mirrors, and hideaway wipers.

The 72 model was a very limited run, as a labour strike for almost half of the year forced GM to scrap many uncompleted cars, so the 72 is a rare part of the iconic Camaro story...

Always a popular model, these 2nd Gen Camaros have a great racing pedigree here in NZ and look fast standing still! this is a good honest old car for the money, with a great look, you couldn't land it from the US and have it on the road here now for this price....and they are not getting any cheaper, so here your chance.
