This staunch looking old Fastback Mach 1 has been in NZ since brand new, that's first registered here in 1972!

With a real Seventies Muscle car appeal this striking Mach 1 ticks a lot of boxes, obviously the recipient of a fairly extensive older restoration at some point of what appears to have been a good old car, this Mach 1 still presents very well today with only minimal wear from being enjoyed over the years.

A clean solid body with decent panel fitment is complemented by a stunning Grabber Orange finish with the legendary blackouts and the big snorkel ram air hood with front and rear spoilers really sending a pretty clear message!

The big 351 Cleveland V8 has clearly had some work and upgrades over the years, running strongly and shifting into an FMX trans, while power steering and power brakes make this example user friendly with very decent road manners for the period.

The interior has been refinished at some point long ago in black with the vinyl knit deluxe seating style of the high grade Mach 1 and this example retains its desirable rim blow wheel, full centre console and Sport Deck rear seat.

Period perfect huge offset Cragar SS wheels with raised white letter tires are all 70s style, and give this Mach 1 a real old school no nonsense look.

A genuine documented Mach 1, this example has a Marti Report confirming the original specification as ordered new by the Pacific Canada DSO, and is recorded as being a September 71 build for the 72 model year.

A cool old Mach 1 with a neat history being Kiwi new, this would have really been something back then on the roads of little old NZ, and it still is today almost 50 years later!
