The mighty HQ Holden! As Kiwi as Rugby and Hot Mince Pies, and this dear old survivor has lived through the decades to tell the tale.

Sold out of Carthy Holden the big Holden Dealer in Christchurch, this old darling has only ever been registered to the Canterbury region according to her old ownership papers, and has Just recently been released from long term lady ownership as a daily driver for almost 20 years!

A very honest old car this neat old Belmont is finished in the crisp Artic white with contrasting red trim and really looks the part.

The body on this HQ is in remarkably solid straight and honest condition for its age, and she still presents well over all.

The interior is very original and only really showing any major wear on the front seat base, but is still in very honest order throughout and presents well.

The smooth old 202 6 cylinder residing in the engine bay seems very happy in her work, and performs very well, running through to the column change manual which is tight and easy to use, and being a 202 Belmont has the power disc brakes up front.

The over all road manners on this HQ are exceptional for a 50 + year old Holden, and one drive makes you realise why these old HQs are still so desirable today. This old HQ would still be a great daily driver as is, or would be one of the best bases for a decent upgrade you would ever find.

Although maintained to be a daily driver, cosmetically there has been no work recently so the bottom corners of the doors and the lower rear guards are just starting to break through, and there are a few bumps and bruises around this old soldier, but after some consideration the decision has been made to put this HQ out at an affordable price as it is with a brand new W.O.F to give someone with a good eye a chance to get in on the ground floor of an Australian Investment car with the potential to improve and add further value, as you can see exactly what youre getting here.. or you could just leave her alone and enjoy the experience of seventies motoring with a smile on your face every time you turn the key!
