This absolutely outstanding original Type LT Z28 Camaro was sold and delivered brand new from Dick Genth Chevrolet of Michigan on the 12th of March 1973 to its undoubtably proud owner who according to the impressive records file, cherished his pride and joy keeping her worm and dry for the next 44 years!

Extensive American historical records which accompany this Z28 show the milage on this example recorded and verified to be round 26k miles when originally imported to NZ in 2017, with her now showing a mere 29k miles.

The impressive original condition and general over all appearance of this remarkable example would certainly appear to represent a genuine low milage car, the interior presents as new and this would be one of the tightest examples of the breed we have ever had the pleasure of driving or listing.

The lovely original body is still wearing what presents to be mostly authentic paintwork, and there is really only minor age related wear from being polished extensively and covered over the years with some of the sharp lines and the bold runway stripes stipes showing a little age, which really all simply adds to the character and authenticity of the car.

Mechanically the original nicely detailed numbers matching 350ci engine still resides in the engine bay, and performs beautifully coupled up to the Hurst shift close ratio manual 4 speed, and with power steering and power brakes all ticked in the options this Camaro is an absolute dream to drive with impeccable manners on the open road, and is refreshingly docile while driving around town.

The gorgeous black Deluxe interior has the wood grain accents and full instamentation to monitor the goings on, and the condition further reflects a very cherished existence.

Factory front and rear spoilers are also listed on the original build sheet which accompanies the sale, and the correct satin finish unique Z28 wheels wrapped in period BFGs give this Z a menacing traditional 70s Muscle Car appeal.
