Hey Charger!

This cool old Charger 770 was assembled right here in New Zealand by Todd's back in the good old days when we had a booming auto assembly industry.

According to the original old ownership papers which have been retained all of these years this example was sold new in CH CH in October 1973 and has lived in the South Island its entire life, with some interesting history and some very well known local car yards of the day noted on the papers.

A good complete old survivor this Charger has recently received a fair amount of attention to body and paint to bring it up to the standard it is presented in today, the under body on this example has been media blasted where required with any of the usual old Charger issues addressed and then refinished in epoxy with cavity waxes, and a photo file of the works completed by local respected trades people is included in the sale for peace of mind.

The body appears straight and solid and the recent repaint has been completed to a very nice standard of finish and has been completed in the original Deep sparkling Jade Green metallic complemented by the high spec 770 Trim detail.

The trusty old 265 engine appears to be happy in its work shifting into a nice smooth auto, and this Charger would be one of the best driving examples we have had through in a long time.

The interior is a mix of original trim and some refurbished items, new carpets have been fitted throughout and some trim items refreshed to give a decent usable yet honest appearance.

Nice clean chrome and bright work complement the overall exterior appearance along with
a nice restored set of original Charger rims shod with decent rubber, so this Old Charger really looks the part complete with her original first issue black licence plates.

This Charger has just come to us with a brand new VINZ W.O.F and registration, and is probably looking the best it has in years, it is not fully restored as it never needed to be, but is well and truly standing to attention after the refurbishment it has received recently, so if you're after a good looking clean user friendly old Charger without the hard work and cost involved to get one to look like this, then this may be just what you're looking for!
