This neat and tidy old 73 Coupe represents the last of what most consider to be the proper old school Mustangs, being the last of the large body pre compact style cars that they would eventually become.

This example has a great look finished in a nice clean crisp sapphire blue course metallic with a set of polished American racing alloys and raised white letter tires.

The body work appears solid and relatively straight and clean having been finished in the neat blue metallic complemented by a blue vinyl top to give it a more classy seventies appeal.

The paintwork although older is still very presentable and although not a concourse car by any stretch this old girl presents very well for the money and would make a great weekend cruiser that would be a pleasure to own.

The engine seems very happy in its work and is the original style 302 2V V8 as per the door tag, which is coupled up to a C4 automatic transmission, and with the power steering ticked as an option it all comes together to make a very user friendly old classic with decent road manners.

The high back bucket seat interior is finished in the original blue vinyl and is nice and tidy presenting well over all, while being protected from the sun by factory tinted glass it has also remained mostly original.

These bigger bodies cars gave a nice ride due to their more Thunderbird or luxury market body style, and were popular for their period with thousands sold over the model run.

A good old chrome bumper cruiser at a very affordable price point, this Mustang would be virtually impossible to purchase import and comply here in NZ today for anywhere near this price, and she's on the road ready to go!
