Hows this for something a bit different!

This highly unusual Mustang has is quite a unique machine with quite an interesting story.

The last year for the full size Mustang model before the controversial Mustang II came on the scene, this very original unmolested example was sold and delivered brand new in Japan in 1973 as a full export model.

This Mustang would have been quite a unique car when it arrived in Japan back in 73, as this luxury Coupe was ordered as a high grade top of the line Grande model, which was absolutely loaded with options from factory.
The extensive options list includes the Ram Air H Code 351 Cubic inch engine with the factory Ram Air functional induction system, coupled up to the C6 automatic, which makes a lovely big smooth powerful cruiser out of this classic Mustang.

The options list on this one is pretty impressive and includes power operated and tinted windows, power steering, Deluxe interior, and of course the factory 8 track stereo, which is still playing an original Doobie Brothers cassette!

The body is very straight and tight with mostly original paintwork finished in Ivy Glow metallic complemented by the off white vinyl roof, while the absolutely immaculate interior is finished in a colour called Avocado! ( It was the Seventies remember!)

Showing circa 72k kms which is believed to be the original milage, this Mustang absolutely drives like a new one, even the annoying little buzzer to tell you to put your seat belt on still works!

A very cool old car for a very modest amount of money, very honest in its presentation there are a couple of paintwork blemishes as would be expected at this age, but over all a very tidy example of a very unique Mustang.

This is certainly one Mustang that will turn heads at your local classic car gathering, and just remember it would be a pretty boring place if we all liked the same style of car!
