1974 was a land mark year for Americas Favourite Sports Car ushering in the first full soft nose front and rear treatment, which looked pretty cool being designed to meet the new safety standards of the day.
This example also has the front spoiler which accentuates the staunch flowing lines of the of this iconic model making it even more aggressive looking.
This gorgeous 1974 was ordered in the factory Mille Miglia Red, which really gives it the head turning look with its lovely clean body and decent paintwork reflecting a cherished and respected existence.
Complemented further by the correct Deluxe deep black genuine leather interior which is in very nice order as well, it really is a pretty cool place to sit back and enjoy the ride, looking out over those big bulging guards and induction style hood. A well optioned example this Corvette also has power disc brakes all around, power steering and power tinted windows.

The engine has been previously rebuilt and has recently had a decent tune including a run on a dyno producing some pretty decent hp for a Corvette of this era, while still remaining a Lovley well-mannered example to drive, with its smooth shifting automatic transmission.
Extensive documentation and a large historical record file show that this Corvette has always been treated well with receipts kept for work completed over the last 45 years! both here and in the US.
The records also include the original hand books , visor instruction sleeve, and the original dealer booklet pouch from Glenway Chevrolet in Cincinnati where it appears this example was sold new.
The records show that most of this Corvettes life in the States was enjoyed in sunny California, and it would appear that it was a personal car that belonged to a high profile Cadillac Dealer, with interesting notes made on invoices indication this was indeed his baby.
Arriving on our shores in 1995 the care of ownership continued with even more invoices and general records kept!
It would be fair to say that this Corvette has enjoyed a pretty cherished existence, and as such still drives like a good Corvette should.
