Looking like its just driven straight off the grid of the 1974 Great Race this magnificent Hard Top is a well known and well respected local car, having been in long term ownership with a very fussy owner, who over the years has won many awards and prizes with his cherished possession,

Starting life as a 302 XB Falcon Coupe sold in NZ new, this Big Coupe has been running the detailed 429 Big Block engine for many years, and has never wanted for any attention from its doting owner, the Big strong 429 runs into a C6 auto box, and onto a nine inch disc brake rear end, with power steering, and all modifications have been fully LVVTA certified, this stunning car has also just undergone a full tune and freshen up, so is performing beautifully.

Refreshingly this very staunch Hard Top is an exceptionally well mannered and very user friendly cruiser, its a real pleasure to drive around town, and is not fussy or temperamental to drive under any normal conditions, but when provoked can definitely provide a decent surge of adrenalin, having laid down some more than respectable times at the drags in her day...

This Hard Top appears very solid in the body, having had the same very nice paintwork for many years now without displaying the usual worrying lumps and bumps that normally accompany these old Hardtops, the general condition and standard of finish is high for an older restoration, and the overall detail is very nice, a lot of genuine GT parts have been sourced over the years for this Coupe, and the GT style rear wing, front spoiler, and XC Cobra style bonnet scoop, round out the aggressive nature of this XB to perfection,
