This lovely looking NZ New VJ 770 really has a cool road presence in its stunning hot orange hue!

Originally sold brand new in Ashburton on the 3rd of December of 1975 this old Survivor appears to have lived its entire life in the South Island with ownership recorded in the original ownership papers in Mid Canterbury and the Nelson region, both areas well known for good dry cars.

This old Charger has certainly had some money spent on it over the years, with historical receipts dating back over 20 years recording a stripped down and refreshed engine, a rebuilt transmission, and extensive maintenance and suspension work carried out over the years.

More recently the body has also been treated to a well photographed and documented strip down with any necessary repairs carried out before being repainted in the original Kalahari Sand colour, which is similar in person to the popular Hot Mustard of some of the R/T performance models.

The original numbers matching engine resides in the engine bay coupled up to the automatic transmission and on into the limited slip diff, and this example also has the luxury of power steering! which is a lovely addition to the options list, and one that makes this Charger an absolute pleasure to drive with lovely manners around town and out on the open road.

The interior has also been partially refreshed at some point with the correct seats and super cool machined turned dash finish taking pride of place in the cabin, while all new carpets finish the clean interior off nicely, and make it a very cool place to sit back and enjoy the classic drive.

Decent chrome and trim complement the exterior of this Charger, and the correct stylised road wheels caps and bands finish the appearance package nicely.

A decent old Charger that drives superbly, and presents very well over all for its now almost 50 years of age!
